Name of Assignment: Angle Geometry logo
Subject: Geometry
Facilitator/Teacher: Ms. Marsh
Description of Work/Assignment:
For the Geometry logo we had a number of angles and lines that we had to add to the logo. Each Logo must have your name/nickname (5 letters minimum) must be comprised of the building blocks of Geometry: points, lines, planes, and angles.
Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why?
The 21st century skill I used for this project was Information skills this is because while doing this project I had to create a math logo with the information that we had from the homework and notes. We then had to take the information and interpret it into the final logo.
What are you most proud of from this assignment, and why?
For this assignment I was most proud of the way I was able to put together the skills. To put that into more detail I was proud of how I was able to include all of the requirements into the logo.
How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment?
I think I improved upon my 21st century skill which in this case was Information skills by being able to contain the information then implie it onto the paper and into the logo design.
What was most difficult about completing this task?
During this assignment I think the most difficult thing to complete would be the coloring portion of the assignment. I had to redraw the logo so many times because i messed up on the color coding portion. In the end I happened to spell my name incorrectly as a result of being so tired of doing the project over and over.
How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do different?
If I could start over I would definitely have a rough draft or an outline that I could look back at. Then maybe it wouldn't be as messy and the spelling would be correct.
How does this relate to what you have learned in the past and how can you apply this to future learning?
This relate to what I've done in the past by, taking what I learnt about angles, lines, points, planes and more and complies it all into a logo design for math. I could use this in the further if I wanted to learn more about graphic design or maybe more generally learning to be able to include a lot of research or information more compactly or neatly.
